Infographic design best practices
Recently we had an opportunity to produce a series of infographics for insightsoftware. With a B2B audience of finance roles in a range of industries as our targets, we began strategizing our creative approach by gaining some inside intel on what types of communications they receive on a typical day.
As suspected, the assumption that these number crunchers are only interested in bottom line is false. In fact, adding a bit of whimsy or humor when trying to get a message across may make the story stand out and be more memorable.
Our solution was a combination of engaging data points and isomeric illustrations. Created with care, these small but detailed scenes proved to be effective in design style and awareness-driving marketing content.
